We have studied force and students discovered that in order to understand expository text, they must know the main idea. After finding the main idea, students now recognize that it must be proven or justified with an example, fact, or detail and that supporting details make an example, fact, or detail stronger. A graphic organizer was used to help students remember the order of information in expository text. After reading about and discussing force, students have created photo slide movies to explain what they have learned. Below are the photo movie videos that they have created.
